I was born in Scotland and I emigrated with my family to Canada in 1966. I left Canada and moved to the United States in 1979 and remained there, living in many different and varied states, until 2011 when my husband and I relocated to France.
I was given my first camera when I was seven. My mother had an in-house darkroom and I learned how to develop black and white from her. Both my parents were avid photographers and at one time owned a film developing company. Everything changed dramatically with the digital age and we can now change a photo into whatever we want even before it leaves the camera. Combining my love of photo editing, my computer love and helping people attain their dreams,I continue to build my business.
Life in France is slow and steady, easy to enjoy the simple things in life. I do like a glass of good red wine; so I adhere to the maxim: ‘Life is too short to drink bad wine’. Of course, accompanied by cheese and crusty bread, what better way to celebrate life?
My favorite quote:
Henry Ford: “Whether you think you can, or you think you can’t-you’re right.”
